Half human, half vulcanized rubber, this resilient hero can swim for miles, jump long distances... and bullets bounce right off of him.

A huge storm in the Pacific destroys a diver's boat, and sweeps the man onto an island of tires. Multiple lightning strikes fuse him with the rubber mass, creating a new life form.
